Wow, that was a crazy workout today! I don’t remember the last time I had to wring my t-shirt our from all of the sweat that was on it.
Have you experienced IT?
You know IT when you feel it, but people think you are nuts when you talk about IT.
I call it Invigorating Exhaustion!
It’s that feeling that you get when you are nothing more than a puddle of sweat & tears after an intense workout. Your legs feel like jello, you can’t even lift your water bottle to your lips, and you just want to lie on the floor and ‘veg’ for the next 3 or 4 hours.
You are absolutely exhausted… but you are totally invigorated at the same time.
While you attempt to collect yourself and get on with your day you don’t have an ounce of physical energy left in your body, but you feel like you can conquer the world.
It simply doesn’t make sense, but it’s the best feeling in the world and you can’t share it with anyone else. It’s all yours and you have to enjoy every second of it. Take it in and love the fact that you just completed that workout.
